Last year we saw a number of updates to the IPVanish Windows desktop client with several bug fixes and new additions. Now IPVanish has released version 2.0 of its VPN client for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and of course Windows 8. The app’s interface has been overhauled to reflect the provider’s overall clean new look and feel. At the same time, the team at IPVanish is also including automatic IP switching to make sure your privacy is protected at all times by switching to different IP addresses in the country of your choice. This is a feature IPVanish is able to offer since it has over 14,000 IP’s in 60 countries. Many other users also seem to enjoy the new Windows 2.0 release:

Battle for the Net Support
IPVanish has also announced to be supporting the Battle for the Net event that wants to prevent governments and cable companies to stop the throttling of Netflix and other Internet traffic. Private Internet Access, NameCheap and AVG are some of the other companies on the list who have already joined this movement.
