According to Windscribe’s welcome video: “using the internet today is like exploring the ocean”. This is perfect to say that the company just dove into new waters, where some of the biggest fish are, and is surely ready to compete with them. With this being said, Windscribe and VPN router specialist FlashRouters just announced a new partnership, which means that now you can get a pre-flashed router with the service provided by the Canadian company. For now, Windscribe only lets you choose between three routers, but we expect to see a couple more being added over time.
A Service Growing Steadily
Windscribe is one of those VPN providers that we watched to grow steadily over time. In fact, this provider doesn’t have such an impact as the top ones that have been around for a longer time, but is surely one of the best alternatives to them. The company offers you the chance of creating a free account in which you’ll be given up to 10GB of bandwidth, in exchange for confirming your e-mail. If you don’t, you will still have 2GB, granting you total anonymity against the company – although boundaries are somewhat strict both in this field as in the server network. In addition, there are other interesting features, such as a browser extension that has its own exclusive ad blocker, or the Double Hop and Cruise Control features which, when used together, can grant the best safety and speed.
Handy Extensions and Setups
Since we’re covering the FlashRouters partnership, we happily announce that you can purchase three different pre-flashed Windscribe routers: the Linksys E2500 Tomato, the Netgear Nighthawk R7800 X4S AC2600 DD-WRT and the Linksys WRT1200AC DD-WRT. These not only assure you an extended protection to every device in your house or office as they are compatible with dual router and dual gateway setups too. In addition, all routers available at FlashRouters now support Windscribe – another provider entering a very long list that includes some of the world’s strongest VPN services.

DJ Danny says
I believe Windscribe is less than 2 years old (started using it 5 months ago), for such a new provider it’s definitely been making some great updates and additions compared to other mentioned companies that have been around a lot longer. Looking forward to seeing WS constantly improve as the years go by.
I’m a pro user and would highly recommend!
