This week IPVanish released the latest iteration of its Windows client for its VPN service. Along with a polished interface, V1.3.0.2 also includes fixes for a few common problems in the ticket section of the software as well as a few other nasty bugs.
Mac users got their update for their favored VPN software a while ago. Version 1.2 of the Mac OS client by IPVanish includes major improvements to the log viewer, the DNS handling and logging of OpenVPN and the response time of the server list updates.
These two software related updates came in between the introduction of new server locations. All IPVanish users are now able to connect to servers on the following locations:
- Brazil (Sau Paulo), 2 servers
- Latvia (Riga)
- Norway (Oslo)
- India (Mumbai)
Along with servers located in new areas, the company also ramped up its server offerings in areas where it was already active. This increase in locations comes just a few weeks after IPVanish added 1,000 IP addresses to its portfolio. Below is an overview of the locations along with the total amount of IPVanish servers now present on the location:
- San Jose (4 servers)
- Seattle (3 servers)
- Chicago (4 servers)
- Miami (4 servers)
- Los Angeles (4 servers)
- Singapore (3 servers)
- UK, London (4 servers)
This brings the capacity provided by IPVanish up to 90+ servers with 3,500 IP addresses in 41 countries spread around the world.
Earlier this year the company added new servers in Iceland, Hungary, Australia, Finland, Luxembourg and a selection of other countries as well.
